ALIPHATIC HYDROCARBON RESINS C5
Characteristic: C5 petroleum resin, also known as EPA resins, aliphatic hydrocarbon resins, the average molecular weight of 1000 to 2500. Yellow or light brown flake or granular solids,  the relative density of 0.97-1.07. Softening point of 70 ~ 140 ℃ Refractive index of 1.512. Soluble in acetone. Methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, trichloroethane, cyclohexane, toluene, gasoline and other solvents. Increase in viscosity with good heat resistance, stability, water resistance, acid and alkali resistance. With phenolic resins, terpene resins, coumarone resin, natural rubber, synthetic rubber and other good compatibility, especially with the styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), excellent compatibility. Combustible. Non-toxic.
Use: Used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive, hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives, hot melt adhesives and rubber based tackifying resin
